After the events of the second part, a war rages between the Nilfgaardian Empire and the remnants of the Northern Kingdoms. Geralt of Rivia learns that his missing adopted daughter, Ciri, has been spotted for the first time after years of wandering between worlds. However, it is reported that she is being pursued by the Wild Hunt—a mystical group of spectral riders, harbingers of war, plague, and the end of the world. With the help of his friends, including Triss Merigold and his long-time love Yennefer of Vengerberg, Geralt sets out to find Ciri.

In the game "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," witcher armor plays a significant role, as it not only enhances the attributes of the main character, Geralt of Rivia, but also appeals aesthetically with its detailed design and historical depth. The witcher armors are divided into several schools, each with its unique set of armor.
The main witcher armor schools in the game are:
School of the Wolf
School of the Cat
Description: This armor is probably the most recognizable and associated with Geralt himself, as he belongs to this school.
Description: This armor is designed for those who prefer speed and agility.
School of the Bear
Description: This armor is suitable for those who prefer heavy armor
and high defense.
School of the Viper
Description: Less known armor but also present in the game.
School of the Viper
Description: Griffin school armor is intended for magical combat styles.

Additionally, the expansions "Blood and Wine" and "Hearts of Stone" introduce new sets and upgrades for witcher armor, allowing for further customization of Geralt's appearance and abilities.

Griffin Armor belongs to the medium armor class and is designed for those who emphasize the use of signs in combat. The armor comes in several variations. SCHOOL OF THE SNAKE
References to the Viper School can be found during the main storyline
of The Witcher 3, but access to this armor set is only available with the "Hearts of Stone" expansion. This medium-category armor boasts impressive stats: it increases armor by 497 points, provides 100% resistance to poison, and reduces damage from piercing and slashing attacks by 50%. Additionally, it offers 60% protection against both monster and elemental damage.
To equip this armor, your character must be at level 40, and you'll need
to complete a quest to obtain the schematics.
To begin, take the quest for Griffin School gear. As you progress through the storyline, look for a harpy nest. Nearby, you’ll find a room that you should search for a letter. Reading this letter will update your map with a new marker pointing to the Dragon Slayer’s Grotto. When you reach a dead end, use the Aard sign on the rocks to unblock the path. You will encounter an Ekimmara; defeating it will allow you to search another chest for valuable loot. Use the Eye of Nehaleni to exit the grotto, then move to the Lonely Rock location. Jump into the nearby body of water and dive to find an underwater cave near a Place of Power.

After navigating through the cave, your path leads to a tower where a wyvern boss resides. Defeating this creature should not be too challenging, and you will soon acquire the artisan's notes and the necessary schematics. Incidentally, Countess Mignole can sell you the Viper School armor. You’ll meet her during the quest "Open Sesame!" in the auction house. It’s advisable not to skip this quest, as it also allows you to obtain the Venomous Steel Sword from a chest in the Borsodi vault. The Viper armor is an excellent choice for those who prefer using poisoned blades.
In the "Hearts of Stone" expansion, Geralt can purchase the schematics for the Viper School armor set by speaking with Countess Mignole in the Borsodi Auction House.
Additional Information
Additionally, in the same expansion, the witcher can find two more Viper School swords, which are significantly more powerful than their counterparts from White Orchard. The schematic for the Viper School Venomous Steel Sword is located in a chest in the Borsodi vault, which Geralt can access during the "Open Sesame!" quest. Although there is no schematic for the Viper School Silver Sword, if Geralt helps Olgierd defeat Master Mirror at the end of the expansion, he can find the Viper School Venomous Silver Sword in the world of Gaunter O'Dimm.

As for the trousers and boots, their schematics are near the statue of the Prophet Lebioda, in an abandoned temple.
