The skill tree in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expands into three distinct paths:
the Raven Path, the Bear Path, and the Wolf Path. Each of these branches is directly associated with various combat styles and encompasses several subsections. Each of these smaller segments also features its own unique skill, alongside minor enhancements to stealth, melee damage, assassination damage, and so forth.
The Raven's Path is the most typical assassin's path, offering powerful skills such as "Chain Assassination", which allows you to silently destroy two unsuspecting enemies at once.. Additionally, this skill enhances statistics related to stealth, evasion, and damage from cover. The Bear Path is more aggressive, leaning towards the berserker aspect of Viking combat, while the Wolf Path is quite balanced and includes useful skills such as last-minute healing and stealth detection. All three paths are viable, and you can mix and match them as you see fit – you are not bound to adhere to one specific path. The most important thing to know from the start is that you can respec your skill tree as you please, meaning investing skill points in abilities isn't very risky. It's an experiment, and you can refund skill points if you find that a particular style doesn't suit you – this is especially useful when you've accumulated many points over the course of the game and have learned which abilities from each direction are your favorites. The skill tree in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expands into three distinct paths: the Raven Path, the Bear Path, and the Wolf Path.
