FIGHTER GUIDE
The Fighter specialization in Dragon's Dogma 2 is more suited for defense rather than dealing damage. With the ability to use a shield alongside a one-handed weapon, its representatives can take on the role of a tank, diving into the heat of battle and drawing enemy attacks towards themselves, thus alleviating the threat for other group members. Additionally, the class possesses skills for dealing damage. At higher levels, the Fighter becomes an unstoppable hero, ruthlessly annihilating enemy units. As it levels up, it gains the ability to develop shield-handling skills, which positively impacts its defensive capabilities. Furthermore, considering what we know from the first installment of Dragon's Dogma, one can assume that the Fighter will eventually acquire enhanced abilities to attract enemy attention.

THE BEST PAWN TRAIT FOR A FIGHTER:
For headgear, you can choose between the Soldier's Helmet (2250 gold) or the Iron Helmet (4400 gold). The Soldier's Helmet is lighter and cheaper, but its protective attributes are slightly weaker. However, don't forget to bring along the Guard's Plate Armor (12,800 gold), as it boasts superior defensive characteristics and resistances among all armor sets at this stage of the game. Additionally, there are the Guard's Leg Plates (11,550 gold), which are expensive and heavy, but they are worth it as they provide additional protection.
The best weapon for a Fighter that you can purchase here is the Vermundian Seal (13,800 gold), which is worth acquiring if you don't have anything better.
